On 30th September 2010 we had a lunch at the National Trust cafe to celebrate my teaching of Yoga for 10 years in Swindon…
Thank you for coming – Surekha, Dave, Gill, Diana, Angela, Shan, Hillary, Carol and Glen. Also thank you for all the gifts, cards and photo’s.
Dave, Diana and Marie (who not at the lunch as she was away on holiday) were all students of mine when I very first started teaching in Wootton Bassett. And the reason we knew I was coming up to this 10 year anniversary is because Diana kept a note of it in her diary.
I am very touched that so many of my students come back year after year. I love my work and it is a privilege to share the gifts of Yoga and without you all the hall would feel very empty – so thank you all for coming so regularly to Yoga sessions.
We all know that regular Yoga makes us a bit healthier, a bit more flexible, stronger and also more relaxed. I also think it makes us better human beings – kinder and more considerate and less materialistic. So Yoga is good for us personally and it is also good for our local community and for the world….
If there is light in the soul,
there will be beauty in the person.
If there is beauty in the person,
there will be harmony in the house.
If there is harmony in the house,
there will be order in the nation,
If there is order in the nation,
there will be peace in the world.
with love and thanks Frances
